Saudi Aramco said on Tuesday that construction at its Jubail-based Sadara Chemical project is 85 percent completed.
Sadara Chemical Co. (Sadara) is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical Co. to design, construct, and operate the largest international chemical complex in Jubail Industrial City, according to data available on Argaam.
The project features 26 production units, at a total investment value of SAR 75 billion.
The first production unit will come on stream during the second half of 2015, and full operations of the complex will start in 2016.
