24/02/2015 Argaam

Etihad Etisalat Company (Mobily), the kingdom’s second-largest telecom operator, said that Abdulaziz Saleh Al Saghyir resigned from his position as board chairman for health reasons.

Al Saghyir will continue to serve as an independent board member.

His resignation was submitted on Sunday and became effective the following day, the company said.

The board named non-executive board member Suliman bin Abdulrahman Al-Gwaiz as chairman for the remaining term.

Al-Gwaiz has extensive experience working in the banking sector. He currently serves as the governor of the General Organization for Social Insurance, in addition to his role as chairman of the board at Banque Saudi Fransi.
