Saudi labor minister slams local employers for hiring foreigners

Saudi Arabia’s labor minister Adel Faqih has slammed Saudi businessmen and employers for favoring foreign workers over Saudi citizens.

 

He said that having 10 million expatriates in the country, crowding out nationals is “abnormal.”

 

While businessmen are entitled to make profit, Saudi nationals also have the right to work in their country, he added during last week’s economic forum in Jazan.
