Saudi Arabia’s National Gas and Industrialization Company (GASCO) sealed an agreement to buy 100 new Mercedes Benz trucks from Juffali Industrial Products Company (JIPCO) to expand its fleet and outreach across the kingdom.
The state-owned gas company will receive the trucks already equipped to transport hazardous materials and gas.
GASCO said the agreement comes in line with its strategy to ensure the availability of gas products in quantities that surpass regular consumption in order to confront any future shortages in Saudi.
The company did not provide details on the deal’s value.
