Haramain High Speed Rail set to launch 'soon'

The Haramain High Speed Rail Project connecting between Makkah and Madinah is set to launch soon, said Mohamed Al-Suwaiket, president of the Saudi Railways Organization president.
 
The 13-car train will operate at 300 kilometers per hour until the summer season to ensure it complies with standard and safety regulations. 
 
According to Argaam, the 450 kilometer-line will link Makkah and Madinah via Jeddah and King King Abdullah Economic City.
