SAMAPCO to start scheduled maintenance April 1

25/03/2015 Argaam

Sahara and Maaden Petrochemical Company (SAMAPCO) is set to begin its scheduled maintenance for 25 days starting April 1.

SAMAPCO said the shutdown had been planned in advance. It also will not interfere with its current obligations and deals with customers.

Financial impact, depending on the prices of caustic soda and ethylene dichloride (EDC), will be reflected in second quarter results.

SAMAPCO is equally owned by Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) and Sahara Petrochemicals Co.
