Saudi Kayan elects new board members

In its general assembly meeting held on Sunday, Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Co. elected seven new board members. 
 
Four were nominated by SABIC for the next three-year term commencing on April 5, while three independent members will be seated.
 
Omar Al-Amoudi was appointed as non-executive board chairman. Abdulaziz A. Al-Habardi, Mohammed A. Al-Ghamdi, Turki A. Al Hamdan were named non-executive directors. Mansour S. Al-Kharboush, Tarek A. Al-Abdelhadi and Yahia bin Eissa Al-Ansari were elected as independent directors. 
 
Shareholders also approved the board and auditor’s reports, as well as the closing accounts for the last fiscal year.
 
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) was reappointed as external auditor. 
 
The board was also absolved from liability for the last fiscal year.
