Aldrees​,​ Bertschi Swiss ​establish new joint venture

Aldrees Petroleum and Transport Services Co. ​said on Wednesday ​that it has set up Aldrees Bertschi Logistics Services, an equally owned joint venture with Swiss logistics firm Bertschi. 

 

The new entity is said to operate with SAR one million in capital.

Aldrees Bertschi will provide chemical logistics and tank cleaning services, as well as transport and warehouse management services.

The financial impact of the investment is expected to reflect on Q4-2015 results, Aldrees said.

Argaam reported in June 2013 that the Saudi fuel retailer had signed a memorandum of understanding with the Swiss logistics firm to establish the joint venture under the same terms and value.

Aldrees offers petroleum retail services and commodity transport services, while Bertschi specializes in chemical logistics, as well as liquid and dry bulk projects.
