Middle East Paper Co. (MEPCO), the Middle East’s largest paperboard producer, will aim to protect its 20 percent market share in Saudi Arabia, Sami Al-Safran, the company’s chief executive told CNBC Arabia on Monday.
The company, which exports 35 percent of its production, has its eyes set on the
MEPCO’s shares began trading on the Saudi bourse Sunday. Last month, it offered 30 percent of the company, or 15 million shares, in an initial public offering, according to data published by Argaam.
