Emaar EC says KAEC projects 'on track'

Various projects under development at Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) were all on track during the first quarter, Emaar The Economic City (Emaar EC) said in a statement to Tadawul. 

Most of Emaar EC's investments are focused on infrastructure and basic services within King Abdullah Port and its industrial zone.

KAEC, located 100 kilometers north of Jeddah, is positioning itself to become a business hub that will attract factories, as well as commercial and service facilities to the area. It will also include mixed-use developments that will cater to residents designed to increase demand for the developer's real estate and service products, Emaar EC added.
