Petro Rabigh shuts down hydrogen unit for emergency repairs

Rabigh Refining and Petrochemicals Co. (Petro Rabigh) shut down its hydrogen production unit (HPU) early Friday morning to conduct emergency maintenance following technical problems at its furnace pipe.

 

The company is currently evaluating necessary repairs, as well as the duration of maintenance, according to a statement it filed to Tadawul on Sunday.

 

Financial impact and other developments will be announced accordingly, it added.
