Abdullah Al-Othaim Markets Company has opened a new branch in Al-Qassim Region on Wednesday.

The new supermarket occupies an area of 1,200 square meters, bringing the chain’s total number of branches to 133, said Youssef Al-Gafari, chief executive officer of the company.

He added that the move is part of the company’s “strategic” plan to expand across the kingdom, as reported by Alriyadh newspaper.

Al-Othaim, which is one of the kingdom's largest supermarket chains, reported a profit of SAR 48.9 million in first quarter, marking a five percent increase from the same period last year.
