Al-Woustah Company for Food Services (Al-Woustah) will open its first branch of its Al-Baik restaurant on Thursday in Saudi Arabia’s Al Qassim region, Makkah newspaper has reported.
The company, which is 25 percent-owned by Abdullah Al-Othaim Markets Co. (Al-Othaim), was established in February with the purpose of launching and managing the chain, which is currently one of the most famous chicken restaurants in the kingdom.
Last October, Al-Othaim signed a non-binding agreement with AGAD United Company for Investment (AGAD), a sister company of Al Baik Food Systems Co., in order to establish a SAR 100 million capital limited liability company. Under the agreement, Al-Othaim owns a 25 percent stake, while AGAD holds the remaining 75 percent.
