Saudi Ceramics Company plans to complete the expansion of its second water heaters plant by November 30, instead of the previously scheduled date set by mid-2015, the company said on Monday in a statement to Tadawul.
The plant, which is 85 percent completed, was delayed due to a change in the factory’s technical specifications.
Costs of the delay in operating the plant are limited and won’t affect the company’s results, it added.
In February 2013, Saudi Ceramics approved a SAR 76 million plan to expand its second water heaters plant in the industrial city in Riyadh. After the expansion, the plant is expected to produce an additional 600, 000 water heaters a year, according to Argaam data.
