Saudi Catering board appoints Al Ghabban as CEO

Saudi Airlines Catering Co. has named Wajdy Mohammed Al Ghabban as its new chief executive officer effective Sept. 1, the company said in a statement posted to Tadawul.

 

He will replace Gerhard Marschitz, who is stepping down after three years with the company.

 

The new appointment was approved on Wednesday at a board meeting on Wednesday.

 

Al Ghabban served as deputy chief executive since 2011. Previously, he held the role of chief operating officer at Mobily since January 2010. He joined Saudia in 1988.
