Saudi Arabia set to have 40 industrial cities by 2016

Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) is planning to increase the number of industrial cities in the kingdom from 35 to 40 by 2016, the state news agency reported.

 

Existing industrial cities include 5,400 factories with a combined investment value of over SAR 250 billion, according to Modon’s director general Saleh Bin Ibrahim Al-Rasheed.

 

Al-Jouf Industrial City is on track to be completed by 2016, Al-Rasheed added during a meeting with Al-Jouf’s chamber of commerce and industry.
