Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has postponed the launch of an air navigation company due to a lack of financial allocations from the kingdom’s finance ministry, Makkah newspaper reported, citing unnamed sources.
The firm was set to be established in early August, but would now only be launched after the new federal budget is announced, the sources added.
In 2012, the GACA was set up as a holding company in a move that aimed to prepare the sector for the privatization of airports and services.
