Nama Chemicals Company’s board of directors said on Thursday that it has appointed Kamal Mohammed Fatayerji as the company’s chief executive, effective October 1.
Fatayerji took on the role of acting chief executive in early May, replacing Fahad Bin Rashed Al Otaibi, who resigned for personal reasons.
Previously, Fatayerji served as Nama’s senior vice president. He comes with 28 years of experience in the petrochemicals industry, and has graduated from the University of Portland.
He also holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley, the company said in a statement.
