Mohammad Al Mojil Group (MMG) said it has appointed Prince Mohamed Bin Nawaf Al Saud as vice-chairman in a board reshuffle.
Hafiz Al Shafei, the group’s chief executive officer, was named an executive member, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Wednesday.
Prince Abdullah Bin Saud Al Kabeer was appointed as an independent board member. Prince Abdullah has broad experience in the commerce and contracting industry, and serves currently as the chairman of Alya'a Al Hijaz Ltd.
Legal advisor Ahmad Al Hokail was also named an independent board member.
The shakeup comes as part of the company’s plan to enhance the capabilities of the executive management team and have a more balanced board representation.
The changes are subject to approval at the upcoming general assembly meeting.
