Saudi Arabia’s Commerce and Industry Ministry has closed down Al-Ahsa branch of Savola Group’s Panda supermarket, as well is its warehouse, in response to an online video that allegedly showed rodents inside rice sacks, according to the official twitter account of the ministry.

Meanwhile, Panda Retail said on its website Sunday that it had shut down the branch to investigate the issue. The company added it was considering suing those who posted the video under the cybercrime law.

Savola Group owns 92 percent of Panda Retail.
