Saudi Aramco Trading has increased its monthly sulphur price for December shipments by $13 per ton to $128 per ton free on board (FOB) Jubail, ICIS reported.
The price rise followed announcements by Qatar International Petroleum Marketing Co. (Tasweeq) and Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. Ltd. (ADNOC) increasing their November sulphur prices to $124 per ton FOB Ras Laffan and $125 per ton FOB Ruwais.
China imported its largest percentage of sulphur from Saudi Arabia at 1.8m tons in the first nine months of the year. Spot sulphur prices in China are pegged at $130-142 per ton cost and freight.
