Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has added two Boeing 777 planes to its fleet, as it received the aircraft on Thursday at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, the carrier said in a statement.

One of the new planes will serve passengers, while the other is said to be used for cargo operations. Saudia’s fleet currently consists of 122 aircraft including 19 B777-368ER models and 22 B777-268ER planes.

The company recently signed an agreement with Airbus to buy 50 new aircrafts over the next three years.  Under a strategic plan, Saudi is aiming to double its fleet size by 2020.
