Yamama Cement Co. will sign a contract with ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (AG) on November 24 to set up a 20,000 ton clinker plant in Saudi Arabia’s Al-Kharj province, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

Other details related to the deal and project will be announced following the signing next week, it added.

Last July, the cement producer said it had been granted three licenses from the ministry of petroleum to explore raw materials outside of Riyadh.
