Saudi Arabia has reopened its embassy in Baghdad, 25 years after cutting off diplomatic ties following Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait, Al Arabiya TV said.
The new Saudi ambassador to Iraq, Thamer Al-Sabhan, said reopening the embassy will allow the two countries to cooperate on security and the fight against extremism, Al Arabiya reported.
