Qatar Liquefied Gas Company Limited 2 (Qatargas 2) has signed a 15-year deal to supply Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) with 3.75 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year.
The first shipment is expected to be delivered in March 2016, the company said in a statement, without mentioning a value for the deal.
The announcement comes as Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in the gas-rich Gulf nation for a two-day visit on Wednesday.
Qatargas 2 is a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil, and Total.
