Mouwasat starts work on hospital expansion project

Mouwasat Medical Services Co. started trial operations for the expansion of Mouwasat hospital in Jubail Industrial City on March 3, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

The process is expected to last approximately 6 weeks, and will result in 100 hospital beds and 30 outpatient clinics being added to the facility.

The project is 1 year behind schedule due to a delay in obtaining necessary construction permits.

The launch date for commercial operations and relevant financial impact will be revealed after approvals from authorities are finalized.
