Zain Saudi mulls sale or joint ownership of telco towers, says CEO

Zain Saudi is considering selling its telecom towers, or the idea of joint ownership, its chief executive Hassan Kabbani said at a conference on Wednesday.

“I cannot talk about where we are on that potential activity, but can tell you that we are considering this as one option,” he was quoted as saying by Reuters.

Last week, Reuters reported that the telco was shortlisting potential bidders for its mobile transmitter towers in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
