StayWell Group plans to open two Park Regis hotels in Makkah

Australia-based StayWell Hospitality Group (SWHG) on Tuesday said it has signed a management agreement to open and operate two Park Regis properties in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

 

The two hotels provide 630 rooms in total with a break-up of 286 and 344 guest rooms, and will be within walking distance of the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Wan said.

 

"The hotels are targeting to open in time for the 2018 Hajj. We are also actively looking for further opportunities to expand our network in the Middle East," Simon Wan, group CEO at SWHG, said in a statement.

 

The opening of the Park Regis Makkah hotels will bring the StayWell group's portfolio to 31 hotels worldwide, the statement said.
