Saudi bank loans rise 10% YoY in February

Bank loans issued to Saudi Arabia’s private and public sectors reached SAR 1.540 trillion by the end of February, according to monthly figures released by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), the kingdom’s central bank.

 

Private sector lending grew by 10 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 1.40 trillion for the same period.

 

Loans to the public sector stood at SAR 139.8 billion, marking a YoY increase of 43.4 percent.
