Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SACC) signed on Thursday two contracts with its associate Al Bayraq Airlines to provide in-flight catering services and Skysales services for Al Bayraq business-class flights between Jeddah and Riyadh, the company said in a statement to the Saudi bourse.
The catering service contract is valued at nearly SAR 72 million, while the sales deal is estimated at SAR 9 million.
The three-year term contracts will be effective from May 1 until April 30, 2019.
SACC added that it expects a positive revenue starting from Q2-2016.
Al Bayraq is operated by Saudia Private Aviation Company (SPA), which is owned by Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia), a major shareholder of SACC.
The contracts will be submitted for approval at SACC’s upcoming general assembly meeting.
