Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) has signed today an agreement with Ascott Limited to lease and operate a new hotel at Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA).
The hotel, which will likely have a rating of four or five stars, is expected to be launched in the third quarter of this year, GACA said in a statement.
The facility spans 4,500 square meters and features 110 rooms and suites.
The deal aims to improve airport services in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and GACA’s strategic plan.
Ascott is the world's largest international serviced residence owner and operator with over 26,000 operating serviced residence units in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Gulf region.
