Nesma Airlines will receive its airline operator certificate (AOC) next week from Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) in Hail, the civil aviation authority said on its Twitter account.
Last November, the airline obtained an official license from GACA as an airline operator across the kingdom, Argaam reported.
Two budget airlines, Al-Maha Airways, backed by Qatar Airways, and Saudi Gulf Air, owned by the local Al-Qahtani Group were also licensed by GACA by the end of 2012.
Once the AOC is released, the airlines can begin commercial operations in Saudi Arabia.
