Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co., a leading supermarket chain in Saudi Arabia, has opened its seventh store in Egypt, Al Riyadh newspaper reported, citing the company’s chief executive Yousef Al-Gafari.
The new store is located in Giza on a total area of 400 square meters, he said.
Earlier this year, local media reports said Al-Othaim would launch four new outlets in Egypt as part of a strategy to invest SAR 144 million in the country’s foodstuff market.
Al Othaim has plans to open a total of 15 new branches this year.
