Trading halt on Tihama stock from Aug 7: CMA

06/08/2016 Argaam

Saudi Capital Market Authority has halted trading in Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co. (Tihama) shares from Sunday, August 7, until the company announces its audited financial statements for the first half of 2016, the market regulator said in a statement.

The decision was made after the company announced on August 4, a delay in the external auditor delivering the signed interim financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2016.

Tihama published its unaudited financials for the period on July 31, 2016.

The authority added that its decision was in line with the Capital Market Law and the Listing Rules and was in order to protect investors and maintain a regulated market.
