Saudi Arabia’s Safari Group has joined a Saudi-Chinese consortium to construct 100,000 residential units in Al Ahsa Governorate, according to a company statement.
The consortium comprises of five Chinese and two Saudi firms. The other Saudi company is Al Kifah Holding Co.
The project would include the construction of high-quality villas as well as housing units, in addition to the related public facilities.
The Saudi ministry of housing recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Chinese government, under which the Chinese construction firms would undertake the development of 100,000 housing units on 54 million sq m, according to an Argaam report.
