Saudi Electricity inks MoU to boost power-efficiency programs

Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has signed a memorandum of joint technical cooperation with Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) with the aim of launching power efficiency programs and exchanging expertise, the utility provider said in a statement.

 

The memorandum is also aimed at exchanging technology and knowledge, promoting research and studies, in addition to qualifying and training technical personnel and competencies, in order to boost competitiveness.

 

The agreement was signed by Saad bin Othman Al-Kasabi, Governor of SASO, and Ziad Al-Shiha, chief executive officer at SEC.
