Al Othaim Markets opens 12th store in Egypt

Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co. has opened its 12th store in Egypt, located in Dokki district in Cairo, the company said in a statement.

 

The Saudi retailer planned to open additional branches in Egypt as part of its plans to expand outside the kingdom, the company added.

 

Earlier this year, local media reports said Al-Othaim would launch four new outlets in Egypt as part of a strategy to invest SAR 144 million in the country’s foodstuff market.

 

Al Othaim had earlier announced plans to open a total of 15 new branches this year in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
