Qassim Agricultural Co. (QACO) on Monday filed a new lawsuit against Al Bandariyah Group before the Riyadh-based Board of Grievances, the company said in a statement to the Saudi bourse, Tadawul.

The lawsuit was filed against the group’s commercial units, operating in food, dairy and agricultural production, and in the marketing of agricultural products, which represented the group as parties to the sale and sale termination contracts.

Qassim in 2009 terminated its agreement with Al Bandariyah and claimed the contract's value back and in March, 2015, QACO filed a SAR 27.8 million lawsuit to Riyadh’s administrative court.

The claim will now be considered by the court on Feb. 8, Qassim added.

In November, the company decided not to appeal a decision by the administrative court to dismiss its case against the group in the SAR 2.5 million dispute, Argaam reported
