Al Othaim Markets to open 25 new bakeries in 2017

Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co. (Al Othaim Markets) is planning to open 25 new bakeries in its branches in 2017, Aljazirah newspaper reported citing Abdul Aziz Al-Othaim chief executive officer of Al Othaim Markets.

 

The CEO said during a board meeting at ZOD Factory for bakeries and pastries, a subsidiary of Al Othaim Markets, that in 2016 the factory added 51 new products and cut the percentage of waste. 

 

The company has opened 19 new bakeries in 2016, he added.

 

ZOD factory provides baked goods to 137 markets out of Al Othaim’s 161 markets.
