Passenger traffic up 5% at Riyadh’s KKIA in 2016

Saudi Arabia’s King Khaled International Airport (KKIA) recorded a 5 percent rise year-on-year (YoY) in the number of passengers travelling through to 23.4 million in 2016, preliminary data from the airport revealed.

 

The number of flights operating from the airport at Riyadh rose 7 percent YoY to 198,800.

 

Passengers flying via domestic and international flights reached 12 million and 11.2 million respectively in 2016.
