Saudi Aramco plans to shut down its condensate splitter at Ras Tanura refinery for scheduled maintenance in May, trading sources were quoted as saying by Reuters on Monday.

The 225,000 barrel per day (bpd) splitter, which process light oils, will be shut down for about 40 days, one of the sources said.

Ras Tanura is the largest refinery in Saudi Arabia, with a 550,000 bpd capacity.
