Saudi German’s Hail Hospital to open on Feb. 16

Saudi German’s Hail Hospital will be commercially opened on Feb. 16 and will start receiving patients the following day, Middle East Healthcare Co. (MEAHCO) said in a statement to Tadawul on Tuesday.

 

The hospital is owned by Hail National Health Services Co., which MEAHCO has a 32.3 percent stake in.

 

The required medical equipment installation and testing have been successfully completed, and the medical and administrative staff have been appointed and are in place, the statement said.

 

Located in the Al-Khozami district in Hail, the multispecialty Hail Hospital will comprise 150 beds, 35 outpatient clinics and six operating rooms.

 

The new facility will increase MEAHCO’s bed capacity to 987 beds from 837, with the financial impact expected to show in Q1 2017 results.

 

The company forecasts a 2.5 percent total revenue growth rate this year, and expects its share in operating loss for the year to reach SAR 7.5 million, the statement added.
