Saudi Arabia to add 29,000 hotel rooms in 2017: report

Saudi Arabia will see the launch of a record 68 new hotel projects and 29,033 rooms across its major cities this year, a report prepared for The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia 2017 said.

 

Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar and Makkah are set to be the kingdom’s busiest areas for hospitality development, the report prepared by TOPHOTELPROJECTS said.

 

Several new hotels are set to open across the kingdom, namely Assila Hotel Rocco Forte in Q1-2017, TIME Qurayyat Hotel and Nobu Hotel Riyadh in Q2, along with Swiss-Belhotel Al Khobar and Makkah’s Abraj Kudai Towers in the last quarter.

 

Abraj Kudai will be the world’s biggest hotel with 10,000 rooms.

 

The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia will be organized in Jeddah, April 4-6, 2017.
