Prince Alwaleed tops ‘100 Powerful Arabs’ list

Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, founder and chairman of Saudi Arabia’s Kingdom Holding Company, has topped the 100 Powerful Arabs list, complied by Gulf Business magazine.

 

This is the sixth consecutive year that prince Alwaleed has been at the top of the list, which has Emirates airline and Emirates NBD chairman Sheikh Ahmed on the second spot, followed by chairman of Saudi Aramco Khalid Al-Falih in the third place.

 

Yousef Abdullah Al Benyan, vice-chairman and CEO of Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC), takes up the fifth spot.

 

This year’s list includes 25 women, the magazine said.
