Amana Insurance says chairman resigned

Amana Cooperative Insurance Co.’s chairman Abdulaziz bin Ebrahim Al-Khamis resigned on Feb. 20, 2017 for personal reasons, the insurer said in a statement to Tadawul on Wednesday.

 

The company’s board of directors has accepted his resignation effective April 2, the statement said, adding that Al-Khamis will remain a board member.

 

Amana Insurance will announce a new chairman at a later date, after obtaining regulatory approvals.
