Saudi Arabia, Japan sign MoU on water desalination

Saudi Arabia and Japan on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation on water desalination during King Salman’s visit to the Asian country, Saudi news agency, SPA, reported.

 

The MoU is aimed at enhancing efforts to expand the capacity of water desalination plants and the use of reclaimed water resources.

 

The MoU was signed by the minister of economy and planning Adel bin Mohammed Faqih on behalf of the Saudi minster of environment, water and agriculture and the Japanese minister of economy, trade and industry, Hiroshige Seko, according to SPA.
