Northern Cement reappoints Al-Harbi as chairman

Northern Region Cement Co. on Wednesday reappointed Sulaiman bin Salim Al-Harbi as its board chairman for the next three years beginning March 16, the cement producer said in a bourse statement.

Al Harbi has served as non-executive board chairman at the company since 2006.

Raed Ibrahaim Al Mudieheem and Saud Al Arifi were elected as deputy chairman and managing director, respectively.

Northern Cement has also set up the remuneration and audit committees.

The company’s representatives were also appointed at the Capital Market Authority, the statement added.
