Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co. (MedGulf) said that its chief executive Mohammed Al-Shaya resigned on Monday due to personal reasons.
The resignation will come into effect April 30, the insurer said in a statement to Tadawul, adding that a new CEO will be named upon obtaining regulatory approvals.
Al-Shaya has served as the insurer’s chief executive since Feb. 1, 2016.
