Saudi Electricity inks two agreements with French utility firm

Saudi Electricity Co. has signed two agreements with French utility provider Électricité de France (EDF) to establish a research laboratory and set up an innovation incubator, state-run Saudi Press Agency reported Wednesday.

Under the second agreement, Saudi Electricity will set up the incubator to benefit from EDF’s expertise, the news agency added.

Both agreements were signed by Saudi Electricity chief executive Ziad Al- Sheha and EDF’s group CEO Jean-Bernard Levy.
