Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education has closed the bidding process for its staff insurance contract and decided to stick with Al Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance (Al Rajhi Takaful) for the rest of the year.
The ministry has received several bids, yet none have met the criteria, the spokesperson for the ministry said on his Twitter account.
Tadawul-listed Bupa Arabia and MedGulf submitted bids earlier this month to provide voluntary health insurance services to the ministry’s employees and their families.
Al Rajhi Takaful signed in February a one-year health insurance deal with the ministry of education that begins April 27.
